Corporate Social Responsibility

Since its inception in 1995, FWA has donated time and money to various charities which, for a variety of reasons, are close to our hearts.

Charities we continue to support are YoungMinds, Missing People, LawCare, CentreStage and MCR Pathways, which are all very worthwhile and relevant causes. We are also members of the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce which offers local businesses networking and expert support, while supporting local economic growth.

Missing People

We are a lifeline when someone disappears. We are caring and highly trained staff and volunteers working in collaboration with partners across the UK. For those left behind, we provide specialised support to end the heartache and confusion and search for their missing loved one.

Missing People is an independent charity funded by donations. You can make a real difference by joining the search in your area and by supporting us in a range of ways.

CentreStage

At CentreStage, their vision is for a society where everyone can fulfill their potential, regardless of their age or circumstance. Their values of hope, inclusion, and aspiration underpin all that they do, and they have worked relentlessly with their team and wider stakeholders since 2006 to develop and deliver creative means of increasing active participation and empowerment through the arts.

YoungMinds

YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. Young people’s experiences are the most important tool in changing mental health practice and opinions. We work with young people everyday to campaign for improved mental health care and better services, put pressure on stopping further funding cuts and reduce the stigma that surrounds mental health by raising awareness online and in the media.

LawCare

LawCare is an independent charity offering emotional support, information and training to the legal community in the UK and Ireland. We work to promote good mental health and wellbeing in legal workplaces and drive change in education, training and practice.

MCR Pathways

The MCR charity was established to support young people who have experienced disadvantage and help them realise their full potential through education. We do this through our school-based mentoring programme – matching young people with a fully-trained volunteer mentor.

Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce

Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce comprises a small yet highly dedicated team committed to offering members opportunities to grow, develop, and enhance their businesses. They provide an excellent range of services, networking events, and platforms to increase your business’s visibility.
