We have been instructed on this new commercial vacancy with our client, an independent Scottish law firm. The firm is currently recruiting a newly qualified solicitor to join its Real Estate team on a full-time basis; the post will primarily be based in Edinburgh however the firm is offering flexibility between the Edinburgh and Glasgow office if this were required.

The role is varied and interesting; the successful candidate can expect to be involved and gain exposure to different types of commercial property matters such as handling key referral forms and portfolio deals, landlord and tenant estate management transactions, providing advice to leisure and retail clients and the working with local authorities. The team is looking to recruit a qualified solicitor at NQ level who has a keen interest in the property industry, completion of a seat in this area during traineeship would be beneficial however not essential.
