This highly regarded Scottish law firm is recruiting a Tax & Succession Lawyer to join its Edinburgh office. This is an excellent opportunity to advise high-net-worth individuals, families, landed estates and rural businesses on a broad range of succession planning and private wealth matters within a collaborative and specialist team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on estate and succession planning, trusts, asset protection and wealth preservation matters
  • Drafting wills, trusts and related succession planning documentation
  • Assisting with the administration of estates and complex family wealth structures
  • Working closely with colleagues across private client, land and property, business law and family law teams to deliver integrated advice

Applicants should have at least 2 years’ PQE, ideally within private client, tax and succession, or related areas. Scottish-qualified solicitors are encouraged to apply, although candidates qualified in England & Wales and professionals from a tax advisory background will also be considered. STEP qualification, or a willingness to work towards it, would be advantageous.

You will be joining a well-respected team with a strong reputation for advising high-net-worth individuals and families on complex legal and tax matters.
