This leading UK law firm is recruiting a Senior Associate to join its Insurance team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded defender litigation practice handling a broad range of casualty claims for insurers, local authorities, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Managing a varied caseload of EL/PL, disease, motor and personal injury claims from pre-litigation through to resolution
• Assisting with complex and high-value casualty matters alongside senior colleagues and partners
• Conducting liability investigations and liaising with clients, witnesses, opponents and the Scottish courts
• Supporting client development initiatives, training and networking activities
• Supervising and mentoring junior fee earners within the team
• Ensuring compliance with client service standards, KPIs and financial targets

Applicants should have at least 5 years’ PQE with strong experience in insurance litigation, personal injury, or defender casualty work. Experience handling EL/PL claims is essential, while exposure to disease, motor, regulatory, health and safety, fatal accident inquiries or professional indemnity matters would be advantageous. Candidates should be commercially aware, technically strong, and confident managing their own caseload.
