An established Scottish law firm is seeking a Residential Property Solicitor to join its busy residential conveyancing team based in the West of Scotland. The firm provides a wide range of legal services, including residential property, estate agency, family, and criminal law, as well as private client work.

The role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of residential property matters within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from inception to completion
  • Handling purchases, sales, remortgages, and title transfers
  • Drafting and reviewing residential property documentation
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintaining accurate case records using case management systems
  • Commercial conveyancing matters for candidates who have an interest in this area, although this is not essential

The firm is seeking candidates at NQ level (with a solid residential property focus during their traineeship) and above, who have experience in residential conveyancing, strong knowledge of Scottish property law, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
