Employment Solicitor

You will join a fantastic team, headed up by Marie Macdonald, known for their friendly hands-on approach with acknowledged expertise in employment law and you will have excellent exposure to a broad range of high-quality matters, including HR advisory, tribunal litigation, regulatory proceedings, data protection issues, contracts, policies and procedures, discipline and grievance and discrimination law. You will primarily deal with businesses and senior individuals and act on behalf of both employees and employers on contentious and non-contentious matters.

You will be responsible for a variety of employment matters across a range of sectors, developing and maintaining client relationships, providing advice on day to day employment law issues and acting in the defence and pursuit of employment tribunal litigation.

The successful candidate will have around 3 years’ PQE in employment law with a strong interest and experience in dealing with all employment law matters. You will also be commercially minded, able to work as part of a team, think creatively and bring new ideas to the firm. (Assignment 12179)

Commercial Property Lawyer, Glasgow

They are seeking a commercial property lawyer (2-7 years’ pqe) to join its Glasgow team.  The team specialises in all aspects of property law in Scotland, dealing with acquisitions and disposals of all sizes, from the smallest industrial unit to the largest single phase retail development built in Scotland. They act for landlords and tenants in commercial leasing and can provide support where portfolios have a cross-border element.

The role will involve:

  • purchase and sale of land/buildings
  • retail/general leasing
  • property finance
  • cross border transactions
  • property due diligence (Assignment 12555)

Licensing lawyer

This is a unique role for a licensing lawyer.  They are open to considering candidates from 1 – 6 years’ pqe with licensing experience, litigation or commercial property experience would also be beneficial.

Their portfolio spans all market sectors, including pubs, restaurants, nightclubs and supermarket chains.  You will have the opportunity to become a licensing specialist and if you have a strong interest in this area, then this could be your next long term career move.  (Assignment 12554)

Family Lawyer

We are delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced family law solicitor with Miller Samuel Hill Brown. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ pqe and will work on a wide range of family law work.  This is a busy law firm and so as well as having the technical experience, you should also have experience of managing your own caseload and working to deadlines.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join this expanding firm.  (Assignment 12556)
