We are delighted to instructed on this new role with our client, an independent UK law firm, which is seeking a Planning Lawyer to join its Planning and Compulsory Purchase team.

The role involves advising on high-profile energy and infrastructure projects across the UK, including work under the Planning Act 2008, Electricity Act 1989, and other key planning legislation. You will be part of a highly experienced team known for providing strategic, standalone planning and CPO advice and work on major developments in renewable energy, transport, and infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE (registered with the SRA or the Law Society of Scotland) with experience handling complex and high-quality planning matters. You should demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated with a willingness to learn, and be capable of managing a diverse and demanding workload effectively.
