A fantastic opportunity is available to join a leading Scottish law firm, which is currently seeking an experienced solicitor to become part of its Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) Team in Aberdeen. This role mainly focuses on the oil and gas sector, with opportunities to work on projects across the broader energy spectrum.

Working in the Oil & Gas section of the team, you will assist with a mix of upstream operator and service sector work.  Your key duties will include:

  • Advising operators on all aspects of upstream operational contracts
  • Advising on due diligence aspects of M&A transactions
  • Advising service sector clients and operators on contractual issues related to all types of specialist service sector contracts, including drilling, seismic, and offshore construction
  • Advising on regulatory matters

The ideal candidate will have between 1 and 4 years of PQE, ideally with previous experience in the energy sector. The team is keen to hear from individuals who are efficient, deadline-oriented, and committed to client service.
