Solicitor, Employment Team – Edinburgh or Glasgow

Practice Area: Dispute Resolution, Commercial Litigation, Employment Law
Level: Assistant, Associate, Full Time
Section: Law Firm
Location: Central Belt, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Remote, East Lothian, Scotland
Ref: FW9679

Our client, a well-established Scottish law firm, is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join a specialist Employment Law team based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The role involves working on employment tribunal cases supported by trade unions, covering the full spectrum of employment law claims. You will also deliver training sessions to trade unions and their members on recent legislative developments, including the Employment Rights Bill, and explore how these changes can strengthen workers’ rights.

This position offers the opportunity to make a real difference for individual claimants and to contribute to shaping employment law through involvement in significant appeal cases. The focus here is on quality legal work rather than business development or unrealistic billing targets.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of post-qualification experience who is committed to meaningful and rewarding work. In return, you will join a supportive environment that values wellbeing, offering flexible working arrangements, hybrid options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

If this position may be of interest, please contact Teddie or Cameron for a confidential initial discussion. (Assignment 17941)
