Share Incentives Solicitor – Part-time / Flexible Working

Practice Area: Commercial Contracts, Corporate, Company Secretary, Corporate Transactions
Level: NQ, Assistant, Associate, Part-Time
Section: Law Firm
Location: Edinburgh
Ref: FW7279

Our client, a market leading firm, has an exciting opportunity in its Corporate team in Edinburgh.

While the level of PQE experience is not limited to any particular range and employee share options experience is not essential, to apply for this role you should have worked within a corporate team at a recognised firm or within a corporate oriented in-house team.

The position is not presumed to require a full time role initially and would lend itself to flexible or part time working for anything from 2 to 4 days full time equivalent. The role may be well suited to someone returning to private practice after some time out and, while relevant experience is preferred, full training can be offered to a candidate with sufficient corporate/company law experience. There is no limitation on the ability for the role to grow in time.

You will be working with Scottish and English companies and while you will not be asked to become involved in general corporate transactional work, you will have a key role in developing the Options Team and initiating improvements to ensure an optimal client experience is delivered, with all available operational efficiencies. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with clients and contacts and develop your network, while working closely with the firm’s tax advisers, who are specialists in advising on the relevant tax issues surrounding employee incentives.

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits such as annual bonus scheme, BUPA, commission for new client wins and flexi-time.

If this role interests you please do not hesitate to contact either Frasia or Teddie for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 12728)
