Senior Rural Property Solicitor – Edinburgh or Glasgow

This established team is currently recruiting a Senior Solicitor to join its Rural Property Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The team provides legal advice across the rural sector and advises a range of clients including major estate owners, owner-occupiers, tenants, commercial lenders, property investors, family businesses, charities, community bodies, and private individuals.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting on behalf of Estate and landowning clients including advising on residential, agricultural, sporting, and commercial leases
Undertaking sales/purchases of estates, forestry, farms, country houses, steading conversions/plots, and cottages
Undertaking security work for commercial lenders
Representing landowners in all aspects of rural property work and providing clear, practical, and commercial advice for clients
Providing advice on the impact of law reform
Undertaking and managing a personal workload
Actively participating in business development opportunities

To be considered for this role you should have at least 5 years’ PQE and have strong rural experience. Candidates who wish to work part-time would be considered.
