We have been instructed on a new and unique role with our client, a professional body organisation based in Edinburgh. This In-House Regulatory team is currently seeking a Senior Regulatory Manager to join them in Edinburgh, however, hybrid working options are also available. This is a full-time position however the team is willing to consider candidates seeking part-time work. The role involves a variety of responsibilities and tasks including:

  • Providing advice and support in relation to the organisations public interest regulatory role.
  • Managing a small team that supports significant regulatory functions.
  • Working closely with colleagues across the regulatory policy team to deliver a joined-up regulatory function.
  • Acting as depute for the Head of Regulatory Policy, when required.
  • Responding to queries from senior members of those Committees/Boards

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the ability to deliver functions or services against strategic objectives and KPI’s. A sound understanding of professional regulation concepts and approaches is essential. A relevant professional qualification in either legal, actuarial, accountancy or auditing is desirable but not essential.
