Looking to make a move to the Channel Islands?  This could be the role for you.  Our client an award-winning off shore firm is currently recruiting a solicitor with at least 6 years’ pqe to join its litigation team.  You will work on a full range of litigation services, some of your duties will include:

  • Responsible for the management and co-ordination of client work as delegated by the Partners.
  • Managing risk exposure in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures.
  • Delegate to and actively supervise the work of more junior staff as appropriate.
  • Assist as required with the motivation, management and development of other fee earners and support staff in the work area.
  • Support the Partners in building an efficient group structure (this may include involvement in recruitment).
  • Take personal responsibility for achieving target hours, proactively manage billings and debtors and record time in a consistent way.
  • Providing an efficient and high quality legal support service to the partners across all aspects of their client work to include researching, writing opinions, reviewing documentation, drafting, preparing cases for court.
