This innovative Global organisation are currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its in-house legal team.  You will act autonomously, reporting to the Chief Administrative officer assisting in providing in-house legal services across our Europe, Middle East and APAC regions.  You should have at least 5 years’ pqe and have strong commercial contracts experience, experience in working in the industrial/engineering or oil & gas market.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Providing technical legal advice and its Eastern Hemisphere subsidiaries (commercial function) to assist in the decision making and to help identify and manage legal risks and issues.
  • Supporting from a technical and legal standpoint in all commercial processes from pre-sales to post contract.
  • Advising management on contract status, legal risks and business terms of various deals.
  • Drafting, revising and providing legal comments and risk assessments regarding contracts with customers, suppliers and other third parties.
  • Monitoring litigation in which the organisation is involved or that impacts them and oversee outside counsel.
  • Analysing legal developments, conducting and interface with auditors and regulators, and overseeing the organisation and subsidiary conduct in response to same.
  • Providing advice regarding licensing and other required governmental approvals.
  • Providing advice and counsel on privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, and trade secrets.
