We have been instructed on this senior in-house role with our client, a global technology organisation. The company is currently recruiting for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its busy legal team based in Glasgow, however, Aberdeen will also be considered.  You will work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure that operations are carried out in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Main Duties will include:

  • Handling all aspects of commercial contracts
  • Participating in M&A transactional work
  • Advising on compliance matters
  • Supporting the organisation in the assessment and strategy for claims and litigation

To be considered for this role, you should be at least 5 years PQE and have previous experience within an in-house, corporate legal environment or law firm. A strong background in commercial contracts is required for this position as the role will focus heavily on contract work. This is a full-time position and up to two days per week remote/hybrid working will be considered.
