Our client, a financial law firm, is currently recruiting a Senior Associate to join its leading Corporate team based in Guernsey. Working as part of a focused, partner-led team, you will play an active role in the day to day running of corporate matters and business development activities, under supervision of a Partner.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Obtain clear instructions from clients, provide legal advice, and prepare relevant documentation for Partner review
  • Manage own matters and provide assistance to junior fee earners involved in such matters
  • Ensure that Partners’ time is used efficiently by organising queries and seeking to identify own solutions to problems
  • Act as the client contact point on any allocated matter

To be considered for this opportunity, ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years’ pqe, however candidates with less pqe will be considered based on their relevant technical knowledge and skills. You will have a proven ability to grasp complex legal information in order to provide sound legal advice as well as strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to interface at all levels and work autonomously.
