This highly regarded law firm is currently recruiting a Senior Associate to join its growing Corporate Tax team in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

The team work with a wide range of clients across many key industry sectors including, manufacturing, technology, food and drink, energy, transport and real estate. The role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of market leading UK and international projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tax planning and structuring advice across a range of different areas.
  • Providing tax support to other teams, in particular, on M&A, real estate and banking transactions.
  • Exposure to tax litigation matters.
  • Be pro-active in proposing commercial solutions to clients and colleagues.
  • Ongoing contribution to the team’s business development.

The role is ideally suited to a tax lawyer, chartered tax advisor or chartered accountant with at least 5 years’ PQE. A strong tax background and considerable experience within a leading tax practice is required.
