This international firm is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its professional indemnity team in Edinburgh.

This firm has offices across the globe and specialises in corporate and commercial indemnity insurance. The indemnity team is responsible for dealing with all areas of insurance work domestically and internationally and the successful candidate will be responsible for continuing the growth and success of the team.

This role will suit a qualified solicitor, with at least 4 years’ PQE. Although experience in indemnity would be useful, it is not essential.  Candidates with experience in commercial litigation would be considered. Interested candidates should be looking to develop their career or move to this area of law.  A willingness to support and share knowledge to achieve objectives is expected.  A good understanding of dispute resolution is essential.

This role includes a range of insurance, policy and recovery work, whilst acting for insurance companies and professionals. Client interaction and providing support and advice on key issues is part of the day-to-day responsibilities, whilst upholding a confident and professional approach. The firm supports hybrid working and will consider a 4 day week for the ideal candidate.
