We have been instructed on a new Civil Litigation role with our client, a full-service law firm based in Glasgow. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Injury solicitor to join the firms busy Personal Injury team. The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of litigation actions and claims including:

  • Dealing with own caseload of personal injury and recoveries files
  • Investigating and assessing the merits of a case and making the decision whether to proceed to litigation.
  • Dealing with a mixed caseload of road traffic, occupier liability, employer, and public liability cases as well as industrial disease and medical negligence work.
  • Corresponding with insurers, GP’s, hospitals etc in relation to claims.
  • Supporting the work of other members of the team, including paralegals and trainees.

To be considered for this role, you should be a qualified solicitor at the NQ-2 PQE level and ideally, have previous experience in personal injury and litigation. Early 2023 qualifiers will also be considered. This position is full time and the team take a flexible approach to the delivery of their service which includes a mix of office and home working.
