We are delighted to be working exclusively on this newly created opportunity with a prestigious global professional membership organisation and business network in Edinburgh.

Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel with 3+ years’ PQE to join their in-house legal team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This is a broad commercial role, with a primary focus on commercial contracts and data protection.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and develop the role as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking legal team. You’ll be working closely with a range of stakeholders across the business, so someone who is confident, inquisitive, and comfortable taking on work from different teams will thrive here.

The ideal candidate will enjoy building relationships across the organisation and being part of the wider business. You’ll have the chance to work on a diverse range of legal matters, offering real insight and engagement in the organisation’s ongoing success. The organisation is particularly keen to hear from candidates with broad commercial contract experience and a genuine interest in learning new areas to support the legal team.

The role offers an excellent benefits package, with flexibility around working patterns, hybrid working options, and a salary commensurate with experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to make an impact in a respected and values-driven organisation, while enjoying flexibility and variety in their work.

If this position interests you, please do not hesitate to contact either Frasia or Teddie for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17013)
