This is a great opportunity for an NQ Solicitor to join this highly regarded Construction and Engineering team, the role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh.  You will join a friendly team who advise clients on all types of construction and engineering projects including commercial, retail, energy and infrastructure for projects in Scotland, the UK and internationally.

Your duties will include:

  • providing non-contentious construction advice for clients
  • drafting and negotiating construction contracts, professional team appointments, guarantees and collateral warranties
  • working closely with clients and their professional consultants
  • advising on procurement options and use of standard form contracts such as NEC, SBC, FIDIC and JCT
  • writing articles with opportunities to present at internal and external seminars
