This global firm is seeking an ambitious Senior Solicitor/Associate to join its Litigation team; this is a full-time position based Jersey. The team is seeking candidates at the 2 – 6 PQE level, ideally with previous relevant litigation experience.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the promotion and development of the litigation team as a whole in the Channel
  • Providing an efficient and high-quality legal support service to the partners (or senior lawyers) across all aspects of their client work to include researching, writing opinions, reviewing documentation, drafting, preparing cases for court.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff as appropriate
  • Taking personal responsibility for the management of matters (with appropriate supervision depending on your level)
  • Managing such other activities/projects as may be required by the Partners from time to time.

The right candidate will have a UK or Commonwealth legal qualification and a qualification as a Jersey advocate is desirable but not essential. Excellent written and verbal English skills, drafting and research skills and knowledge of research platforms/document management systems is key to this role.
