Our client is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its Private Client Teams in Glasgow and Helensburgh.  This is a varied role where you will be involved in all aspects of private client work including estates and trusts, preparation of wills and Powers of Attorney administration in respect of Guardianship and Power of Attorney matters.  Your duties will include:

  • Attend meetings with the families/executors in order to collect information regarding the deceased’s assets.
  • Knowledge of the various Trusts used under Scots Law.
  • Advising clients in relation to Wills and Succession planning and preparing documentation.
  • Provision of advice in relation to Powers of Attorney, preparing drafts and dealing with registration as appropriate.
  • To support clients on an as and when required basis, fulfilling a range of legal administration and welfare functions.

To be considered for this role you should be at the NQ-6 years’ PQE level and be keen to progress your career in this area.
