A leading Law Firm is seeking a Lawyer to join its Disease Team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role offers a hybrid working pattern and is part of the firm’s Insurance Division. The successful candidate will be based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office, working within a collaborative and technically strong team known for delivering practical and commercial solutions in defender insurance litigation.

The position involves managing a varied caseload of occupational disease claims, including noise-induced hearing loss, hand-arm vibration syndrome, asbestos-related conditions, and other long-tail matters. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting research, liaising with clients and experts, and supporting senior lawyers on complex cases.

The ideal candidate will be at the NQ-4 years’ PQE level and should have experience in defender disease or personal injury litigation, preferably representing insurers or corporate defenders, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
