Junior In-house Commercial Solicitor

This growing organisation is currently recruiting a Solicitor to join its legal team.  This is a broad role where you will be involved in commercial contract and commercial litigation.   You will be involved in all aspects of commercial contracts and some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing focussed and commercial legal advice on all aspects of the business
  • Negotiation of contractual documentation for customers and suppliers
  • Assisting the General Counsel in the role as Company Secretary
  • Addressing regulatory matters
  • Data Protection matters
  • Active involvement in disputes including debt recovery litigation and contractual disputes
  • Reporting and working directly with the General Counsel on all legal matters
  • Liaising with and managing external legal service providers
  • Advising management on all legal and risk matters
  • Working continuously to business KPIs and agreed targets

To be considered for this role you should be at the 0-3 years’ pqe level and have strong commercial experience gained for private practice or in-house.  This role is based in Perthshire and the organisation is open to hybrid working, although you may be required to be in the office 2 days per week.  If this position interests you, please get in touch with Teddie or Robert for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 13092)
