Defender Disease Solicitor – Glasgow

Practice Area: Litigation, Occupation Disease & Casualty, Personal Injury
Level: NQ 2022, NQ, Assistant, Associate, Full Time
Section: Law Firm
Location: Central Belt, Edinburgh, Glasgow
Ref: FW6977

This is a unique opportunity for a litigator to work with this leading insurance litigation firm.  This team handles a broad profile of cases including Noise Induced Hearing Loss (“”NIHL”) asbestos related injuries, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (“HAVS”) and claims involving the Control of Hazardous Substance Regulations (“COSHH”).  The role involves a mixture of insurer clients and self-insured companies which instruct the firm directly.

The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified solicitor with a keen interest and proven ability in disease claims, with between 0 to 8 years’ experience in handling disease claims at a litigated stage.  An early 2022 qualifier would be considered.  The firm is also open to applications from candidates with general Personal Injury experience with a genuine interest in this area.  The firm is happy to consider all locations, although you will be required to be in Glasgow at least one day per week.

If this position interests you, please do not hesitate to get in touch with either Teddie or Frasia for an initial and confidential discussion.  (Assignment 12143)
