Our client, a UK based aerospace company, currently has a need for a temporary In-House Solicitor to join its busy office in Inverness; the post will last for an initial period of 6 months. The successful candidate will be involved in the company’s growing technology business and responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Providing accurate legal advice on a broad range of issues related to commercial law, space law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinating with and managing external legal counsel as required.
  • Managing and advising on legal risks associated with the development and launch of space-related technologies.

The ideal candidate for this position will have  a minimum of two years pqe with excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial law, regulatory and compliance and company law.  More experienced candidates will also be considered.   The team is keen to hear from ambitious, self-starter candidates who are able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. This is a unique opportunity to move in-house if this were something of interest; there is also scope for hybrid working.
