A fantastic in-house opportunity has arisen to join a national renewable energy company specialising in Battery Energy Storage Systems. The company is seeking a Real Estate Lawyer to join its team in Edinburgh.

The primary purpose of the role is to negotiate and finalise option and lease agreements with landowners, facilitating the company’s pipeline of energy storage projects across the UK. The role will involve:

  • Performing title assessments for prospective project sites.
  • Advising the land team during negotiations of terms with landowners.
  • Negotiating and drafting option agreements and leases with landowners’ solicitors.
  • Supporting the Legal Counsel with the legal aspects of development financing for project portfolios.

Applicants should have at least 2 years’ PQE in real estate and ideally renewables.
