An exciting opportunity to make a move in-house!  Our client is currently recruiting a Financial Services Solicitor to join its team based in Edinburgh.  The ideal candidate will have between 2-5 years’ pqe and have previous financial services experience.   The role will involve the following –

  • Providing legal and technical advice and guidance as well as identifying solutions and risks to the business, including making recommendations to the business on development/proposition projects required to support the launch of new pensions, GIA, ISA and Protection products and services. (This includes analysing and interpreting legislative and regulatory changes affecting the above products and services).
  • Assisting the team in ensuring that the company’s contractual documentation with customers, such as scheme rules, policy conditions, application forms, online declarations and trusts is accurate and of an appropriate standard.

The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships internally to assist in influencing decision makers and will provide assistance with the provision of legal opinion and recommendations that support the strategic and commercial decision making process.
