In-house Commercial Contracts – Edinburgh

Practice Area: Commercial Contracts, Construction, Energy
Level: NQ 2022, NQ, Assistant, Associate, Full Time
Section: In-House
Location: Edinburgh
Ref: FW8102

We are delighted to have been exclusively instructed on this in-house legal role with a renewable energy organisation based in Edinburgh.  The organisation is seeking a commercial contracts lawyer to join its busy team who focuses on offshore windfarms.

The ideal candidate will be in the NQ-4 years’ PQE bracket and have an enthusiasm and desire to work in a busy in-house commercial role.  This organisation already has an established legal team in place and so there will be the opportunity to work autonomously but with the support of the wider team.  The role will have a particular focus on commercial contract work but the Hiring Manager is flexible on the type of experience candidates will have obtained up until now.  Candidates with experience in areas such as corporate, projects, construction, renewable energy, real estate and oil and gas amongst others will be considered for this role.  A commercial litigation background could also be beneficial, and in particular, candidates with contentious construction experience would be well received.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior level lawyer to join a thriving in-house legal team within a growing organisation. Salary is highly competitive as well as market leading benefits.  A hybrid working arrangement is available as well.
