This UK Law Firm, headquartered in Scotland, currently has an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified Lawyer to join its Real Estate Litigation Team. The team requires an additional Lawyer to specialise in Dispute Resolution and Risk matters. The team is open to location and the post can be based in either the firms Edinburgh or Glasgow office.

The successful candidate will become part of a highly regarded team and will act for clients on a range of property matters, including commercial tenants and landlords, estate owners and investors/funds. You can also expect to appear in the Sheriff Court and Tribunal system, as well as handle complex litigation cases. Core tasks will involve:

  • Offering guidance and opinions to clients on real estate dispute resolution, consistently employing a commercial perspective.
  • Proactively exploring alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Collaborating efficiently with team members and supervising less experienced colleagues as needed.
  • Keeping in regular communication with clients and colleagues, showing a clear understanding of client priorities.

To be considered for this position, you will be a newly qualified Lawyer, ideally with previous experience in these areas, however this is not essential. Interested applicants should be able to demonstrate an empathic approach to clients needs and tailor their advice appropriately.
