As one of the world’s largest providers of offshore legal and administration services, a career at this firm offers you the opportunity to work with some of the most highly respected practitioners in the offshore world.  Our client requires you to have between 4-8 years’ pqe, with experience in one or more of banking/ finance, mergers, pensions or employment.

Your duties will include:

  • Advises clients, in keeping with the internal policies and procedures, with respect to all aspects of client matters assigned to the Corporate Practice Group.
  • Represents the group in dealings with other law firms, government representatives, agencies, and other professionals involved with the client’s matters.
  • Is responsible for developing a thorough understanding of each assigned client’s business and business philosophy.
  • Takes instructions from other lawyers or clients including suggesting, recommending and drafting instruments for a particular matter.
  • Reviews and prepares contracts, including acquisitions and joint ventures, complex commercial transactions, mergers, buy-outs and other corporate business transactions.
  • Reviews documents prepared by other lawyers and provides comments thereon.
  • Mentors less experienced lawyers where needed.
  • Participates in the practice group’s marketing, education and training programmes.
