We are currently working on a position within this leading Scottish law firm. The firm is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its Construction & Projects Renewables team based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be NQ – 2 years PQE level and have experience of construction, projects, and transactional contract work. Early 2023 qualifiers will also be considered. The role will cover a wide range of energy and renewables work including:

  • Balance of Plant (civil and electrical contracts)
  • Operation & Maintenance contracts
  • Engineering procurement contracts including the use of standard form such as FIDC and MF1
  • Project Finance contracts
  • Turbine Supply Agreements.

You must be forward thinking, results-focussed and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales. You should also have a genuine interest in the construction/energy sector and a willingness to participate in business development. Our client is open to lawyers coming from commercial areas for this role – commercial contracts or corporate. Support will be given to the successful candidate based on their level of experience.
