We are delighted to be working on this unique in-house paralegal role with our client ISG.  ISG is a global construction specialist company with a growing legal team and is seeking a non-contentious construction paralegal to join its Glasgow office.

The team seek applicants who have already obtained a law degree and have completed the diploma in professional legal practice.  Previous experience in construction work is essential as well as knowledge of the subcontract process. ISG is open to receiving applications from diploma graduates who have experience working with commercial contracts and have a keen interest in pursuing a career within construction. This position could potentially lead to a training contract for a hardworking and motivated candidate.

The role will involve:

  • Checking and approval of company subcontracts
  • Supporting Business Units/site teams in relation to contractual issues
  • Dealing with insurance queries/claims and liaise with our brokers when necessary
  • Advising on the management/administration of disputes with clients, sub-contractors, and consultants

This is a full-time position, with hybrid working option, suited to candidates with a genuine desire to expand their legal skills within this area.  Applicants should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a pragmatic approach and enjoy working as part of a team.
