Our client is currently looking to recruit an interim Solicitor for a period of 12 months. This is an In-House Team Leader post in the commercial division, and the ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following disciplines: commercial contracts, corporate, construction, conveyancing, commercial property, procurement or data protection.

The role will include the following responsibilities/ areas of work:-

  • Lead the Commercial team and develop, motivate, inspire and manage the performance of team members.
  • Co-ordinate the Strategic Areas Support Solicitors and allocate work received from their engagement with Strategic Areas throughout the team.
  • Contribute to the development, design and implementation of policies.
  • Undertake general line management duties for the team including authorising leave, managing sickness absence, managing discipline and carrying out performance review and development.

You will provide and lead the provision of Contracts; Property Law and Conveyancing; Adoption & Fostering; Litigation; Licensing; Planning; and General Legal Services.

The offices are based in Kirkintilloch with WFH during current restrictions, with a blended approach going forward.  Part-time working may also be considered.
