A well-established Scottish law firm is seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its Charities and Third Sector team, based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. The firm is known for its comprehensive legal services and strong reputation across both commercial and private client sectors.

This opportunity involves working closely with a diverse range of socially driven organisations—from national charities and foundations to grassroots community groups and social enterprises. The successful candidate will advise on governance, regulatory compliance, restructuring, and trustee training, contributing to the development of the team’s growing profile in the sector.

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ PQE, ideally gained within charity law or related areas such as corporate, public law, or private client work. A genuine interest in the third sector—whether through professional practice, volunteering, or trusteeship—is highly valued. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team are essential.

Flexible working arrangements, including part-time hours and hybrid options, may be considered depending on experience. Applications are also welcomed from senior professionals looking to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and expanding practice.
