Our client, a highly regarded Guernsey based firm, is currently recruiting for an Associate to join its busy Banking & Finance team. The team supports banking and financial clients transacting in or with counterparties or collateral, across five jurisdictions (BVI, Cayman, Guernsey, Jersey and Luxembourg).

The ideal candidate for this position will be at NQ-1 PQE level and have an excellent academic background, ideally with experience from a leading law firm environment. Key responsibilities include delivering technically sound legal advice to clients with supervision from senior fee earners, managing transactions from start to finish, and handling financial aspects such as time recording, billing, and debt collection. You will also have the opportunity to develop negotiation skills, provide fee estimates, and actively stay informed on relevant market legislation and its impact on client matters.
