We are delighted to have been instructed on this new In-House role with our client, a renewable energy company which is one of the largest in the world. The role is based in the company’s Glasgow office. The role will be full-time on a permanent basis.
The company is currently recruiting an experienced Legal Counsel to join its highly regarded Legal team. The role will focus primarily on property work with some aspects of planning; its purpose is to provide support to an increasing number of renewable energy projects such as onshore wind, solar and battery storage. You can also expect to work closely with and provide support to the development teams within the business such as technology and commercial.
To be considered for this position, you should be a qualified lawyer in either Scotland or England and Wales, and have between 1-2 years’ PQE. Dual qualified would be advantageous, otherwise candidates should show a willingness to become dual qualified. Previous experience of property law is required as well as strong knowledge of the energy sector.
