A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled corporate and commercial lawyer to provide professional legal support service within SMG, Scotland’s leading commercial television producer and broadcaster. The successful candidate would form part of a team of 3 lawyers based in Glasgow to support the Television Division and Corporate Affairs Department. Reporting into the Head of Legal, you will need a broad experience of corporate, competition law and regulatory work; exposure to a wide range of commercial contracts (including drafting & negotiation); and have a genuine interest in film and television production. Knowledge of IP and IT law is a pre-requisite for this role. The successful candidate would need strong organisational skills and the confidence to provide robust legal advice mixed with commercial realism to staff at all levels of the business.
