FWA Know-How
At FWA we know how important trends and changes in the legal recruitment market are to clients and candidates, and we work very hard to ensure that our market knowledge is up-to-date and relevant. Our Marketing team is constantly monitoring news and developments, as well as compiling and analysing information and data from a variety of sources. This means that at any given time clients and candidates benefit from access to a continuously evolving and updated bank of information. Our annually published Salary Guide is just one example of this. Click here to access our 2008 Salary Guide.
At any time during a lawyer’s career, he or
she may feel that they need just a little more impartial
and information or advice before deciding to embark
on the process of moving firms or moving in-house,
as the case may be. FWA CareerPacks are designed
specifically with this in mind, and each provides
level-specific focus and information - after all,
what is relevant to a newly qualified lawyer will
not have the same relevance to an experienced associate
seeking partnership. Our CareerPacks are provided
free of charge – to

and level of qualification, please click

While it is a clear indication that a firm or other organisation is interested in a candidate, being granted an interview on the back of a strong CV is not enough to secure any candidate a firm offer of employment. What a candidate does before, during and after the interview is equally crucial. Before any of our candidates attend an interview, we ensure that they are intensively prepared and briefed prior to the interview in order to enable them to maximise the opportunities the interview affords them. All our candidates receive a tailor-made pre-interview pack containing valuable relevant market information retrieved from a variety of sources. Our consultants will also be available conduct detailed feedback and debriefing sessions post-interview.
